CAB Comedy Night event got people on stage

The University of Texas at Tyler welcomed comedian Josh Sneed to the UC Sports Cafe. The comedian brought his unique brand of humor to the nights frivolity which was also supported by Brunos Pizza and sodas. If you were unable to actually make the event, here is a sample of one of the pieces he performed on stage

World Series of Zombies....

My title makes this blog sound more awesome then it will probably actually be but I did spark your interests.
Wednesday night I attended yet another sponsored event by one of the RA's at Patriot Village.
It was a gathering to watch the World Series game one which was the Detroit Lions versus the San
Francisco Giants. For those who didn't watch the game, The Giants won 8-3 and score 4 of those hits during the first inning off of a home run. This gathering offered delicious pizza and yummy cinnamon rolls from Cici's pizza.
I myself enjoy the sports Baseball and Softball. I used to play as a child up to maybe 13 years old when I got hit in the chest from a batter with one of the best players in our league pitching.
Here is one of my pictures as a softball player for you to look at.

I signed up for Human versus Zombies today. It's an on campus event that basically you try to stay alive all week as a human without being tagged by a zombie. Human are allowed to Nerf guns, socks and marshmallows. Each day there is a mission of sort that all the participants play in to get some kind of reward.
You can read more on the Facebook group. I'm super excited about this. I will also be filming this for the event for you guys to watch as Eli passed the gauntlet to me when he left last semester. I hope to make just as awesome videos or better.
My Code name is Blogger Zombie.  :)
Registration is over by now when this blog is posted. Don't fret if my blog made you go, I wanna play! because this will occur again next semester or if you're really zealous to join you should talk to one of the mods on the Facebook linked.

Pizza Appreciation Post

When I came to UT Tyler, I knew quite a bit about cooking for and feeding myself. After all, freshman year I had the MET. I'm letting three years of "college life" take its toll on my food preparation abilities- they have been lacking. So, last Thursday, I ordered a pizza, not unlike any other Thursday or day for that matter. I was quite happy with this decision. I even found a coupon online.

I ate three pieces at work.
I had two after work.
I had the last two for breakfast on Friday.
Then I was deathly, food-poisoning ill all weekend!

So, learn from me:
Leftovers go in your mini-fridge.
Not on the counter.
Not under the bed.
Not on the desk.
In the fridge.
Pizza is your friend and deserves nice treatment.

This has been a post.

Down at the PV Clubhouse...

I just witnessed one of the most entertaining football games I think I've ever seen. I meant to see the Chicago Bears go against the Green Bay Packers, but I'm glad I went to see the Steelers (Pitsburgh) and the Jets (New York). Truly, I could've just watched the game from home, but I decided it would be fun to go down to the Patriot Villiage Clubhouse, eat some pizza, and watch the game with my fellow apartment dwellers. On top of the fact that the game was great (a 24-19 score, going to the Steelers), it was nice to sit and chat with my roommate and some of the other people that live in my building.
One guy I talked to was the roommate of my roommate's boyfriend. Yeah, I know, but it was still cool to talk to him. The free food was just the cherry on top of the end of my quiet Sunday. It was nice to be around people you live with and just talk over some football. Who knows, if PV decides to have a Super Bowl viewing, I definately plan on going.
