This Weekend in Tyler

I hope everyone is ready for a full weekend in Tyler! In a previous post I talked about everything that has been going on this month. Now its the end of March and I got two great shows to tell you about going opn this weekend right here in Tyler!

Friday March 29th What About Kabob will be hosting four great acts. Man & Knife features the epic roar of Ben-Jamin Rambo on guitar, the driving force of Mason Misbehavin' Bivens on bass, and the heart pounding thump of Casey "Koo Koo" Coomer on drums. Also on the bill will be the hip-hop / rap styling of Retr05pect fronted by UT Tyler's own Tommy Roland. Tommy's mix of classic 90s hip hop with underground grit makes Retr05pect something you never want to miss. Kabob will also be featuring the Heavy Metal / Psychedelic / Funky groove of Remaining Anonymous. If you were to mix Primus and tool with a dash of funky psychedelia you would have Remaining Anonymous. Channel 8 (sorry no facebook yet) featuring myself on guitar and Casey "Koo Koo" Coomer on drums will bring you a classic rockin jam.

Saturday March 30th The Coffin Shop will be hosting their second open mic night entitled The Resurrection Variety Show Extravaganza. Each person / band / poet / singer / dancer / comedian / rapper / etc. will have a 10 minute time slot to show of their stuff. As usual its for everyone 18 and up with $5 to spare at the door for cover.

Don't be a loser this weekend! Be a winner! WINNING!!!!!!!!!!!
