The Best of the Best - A Valentines Day card SPECTACULAR

   So, with Valentines Day here ( and, soon to be gone again for 365 more days ) I decided I would post the "best" of the silly e-cards and images I found on the various walls of my Facebook friends! While not all of these may make sense ( the Train/Bee cards are from an old Simpsons episode ), I find them whole collection hi-larious! 

How To Lose a Potential Valentine

I know I should only be focusing on school and classes, but with Valentines Day approaching, I figured this post was very much appropriate.
In college you're going to meet all sorts of people and talk to a lot of people interested in dating you. This guy made it very easy for me to decide that I wanted nothing to do with him.
So, here is how to get rid a potential date, readers, as experienced by me.

1. Say "lol" after absolutely everything.
And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING.

2. Blow up their inbox.
Sometimes people are busy. Sometimes they're sleep. They're not always ignoring you, I promise.

3. Be condescending.
You can be younger, older, smarter, not so smart, whatever. Take into account that the other person might know what they're talking about.

3. Not be yourself.
You shouldn't try to mold yourself to the other person's interests. Just be yourself!

4. Unneccesarily argue.
If we're already arguing, that's not a good sign for the future.

5. Be flaky.
Stick to your word. When you say you're going to do something, do it. If you say you're going to be somewhere at a certain time, be there at that time.

Basically, just be good to the person you're interested in. Treat your Valentine well. No need to be extravagant or extra-cheesy (unless that's what you like).
And remember that chocolate and compliments go a long way ;)

Something creepy, just for you!

So, it's that time of the year again when stores begin to jack up the prices on their chocolates, cookies, and cupcakes  and every other commercial on TV is for a jeweler or florist. Yes, it's Valentine's Day. For some of us, that means "I love yous", stuffed teddy bears, and sweet things (eventual cavities). For those of us that are a little bitter about the whole Valentine's Day thing, you're annoyed at all sweetness, money spending, and general gushing. Personally, I stay in the middle of things. I honestly don't mind the  "I love you, sweetie"s and fluffy gift giving. I'm even okay with the couples so long as no one makes out in my face. I think that's a general rule for just about everyone, though. I can understand the more negative side, too. Some people just aren't into some of the (admittedly) materialistic displays of the holiday, and I can understand not buying into the whole idea that love is fat winged babies going around shooting people. But that's okay. We all know know what the realest and best part of Valentine's Day is: the half price candy the day after. Now, enjoy this mildly  uncomfortable Valentine's Day card. Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentines day? Nope! Valentines Week!

It's Valentines day! The wonderful day of the year when you show your significant other or that crush just how much you care and how special they...ugh...sorry I almost barfed. I like valentines day. Notice I didn't use that other four letter word. But you might ask how could you like valentines day if not for that word? It's really quite simple. Baked goods! Every year around this time, our apartment is filled with candy, cupcakes, cookies and other wonderful junk food. The best part? They're home made and not by me. People, please don't wait for that one day of the year to show someone they matter. Bake cupcakes all year round! But seriously, do it often and you might even find..oh here we go...Love! See I said the word. There's hope for me after all. With that said I'm off not to go celebrate Valentines day, but Valentines week. Cupcakes usually last a while.

Must be all the love in the air

I am in an amazing mood today and it feels pretty outstanding. Not sure if it's because it's Val day, or that I saw a ton of people I know today, or because I got to work out earlier in the day and I'm on an endorphin rush. Or... maybe it was that candy bar I had a few minutes ago... regardless, today's a good day and I'm happy to share it with you folks. I may be alone on valentine's day but that would never be enough to bring me down, I have a puppy to keep me company, I do hope that wherever or whoever you are that you get to see something or something happens to you that would put you in amazing mood and just think about how awesome you are. Because you're reading my blog, that auto makes you awesome in my book, and if you need a jumpstart, listen to this song if that doesn't put a grin on your face, then nothing will!
