Have you visited UT Tyler?!

There's nothing more beautiful than looking at a lake reflecting the sun's splendor upon an area filled full of trees rustling with a light breeze. This is what I see every time I head to class. The University of Texas at Tyler is a campus with a small park in the center. It is not like other universities, since here we provide a great atmosphere were students can roam around in a mentally stimulating environment. So why not visit?

The Welcome Center provides prospective students the opportunity to tour around the campus and get the UT Tyler exposure they need. Tours are held Monday through Friday. There is one at 10 a.m. and another opportunity to take one at 2 p.m. Not only will you get to see what it's like around the university, you get to do other things! You'll get to sit in on a class if you'd like so you can get a first hand experience with how the classroom setting is here. You can meet academic representatives to learn more about the degrees we offer. Visiting the different housing complexes is also a possibility! You will even chat with current students as they will be your tour guides!

To schedule a visit you can register online or call the Welcome Center at 903-566-7203
Directions are available on the site!

If you can't visit the university, you can take a virtual tour!

Now here's a little more information about our school:

UT Tyler is located approximately two hours east of Dallas and an hour and a half from Shreveport, Louisiana. We currently have about 7,500 students enrolled. We have a ratio of 60% female and 40% male. Our most popular majors are nursing, engineering, business, psychology and education. Our student to teacher ratio is 17:1 in your major classes. So if you haven't looked into UT Tyler, you are definitely missing out!
