Tyler Roses
In case you haven't heard, roses are a huge deal here in Tyler. They have these parades with floats made of chicken wire, covered in live roses. Overdone grown women and little girls in huge matching dresses compete for titles. They crown some queen and it is all over the news. But, for the average student at the University of Texas at Tyler, we probably won't hear about it because it is all the way on the north side. Take a minute to know that the gardens there are beautiful! And we only have a few more weeks before it gets too hot to be outside in the early afternoons, so go take a study break.

It was nice so stop and... literally smell the roses. I suggest everyone do something of the sort. This week. Now.
