I recently went to the UT Tyler vs. UT Dallas men's basketball game and what a game it was. The atmosphere was great and the fans packed the house! UT Dallas is UT Tyler's main rival in the American Southwest Conference (ASC) and the winner of this game would be solely in second place in the ASC East. The first half went pretty well with UT Tyler hitting three three-pointers in a matter of 45 seconds and a few two-pointers to create a nice lead, but after some dismal rebounding UT Tyler ended the half tied. The second half UT Tyler still could not get any rebounds and stayed behind UT Dallas all half. With two minutes left, UT Tyler finally woke up and started doing work, but it just wasn't enough. UT Tyler ended up losing 71 to 62.
