Student-Faculty Ratio

One of my favorite qualities of The University of Texas at Tyler is the small student to faculty ratio. At UT Tyler for every 16 students you have one instructor. That is great in comparison to other higher education institutions in Texas and across the nation. With smaller classes it allows for students to have one on one time with the instructor and not just be an ID number to them. I can say that I have built quite a repoire with some faculty here due to their candidness in approaching the subject matter. I think this great ratio ties in with our 66% graduation rate. Our university has shot up from last year by 16 points in the standings and 13.1%. These figures are compiled entitled Overall Score done by http://www.stateuniversity.com/ which derive from attributes like total cost, admissions rate, enrollment, and retention.
