First Day of Winter=81 Degrees (Not feeling like XMAS)

The first day of Winter was topped off with an 81 degree day here. The day was a pretty good one. With the temperatures being this high, it's kind of hard to imagine and to get into the "Christmas Spirit". If it was not for the packed malls and the packed freeways and streets, it would seem like a normal cool summer day. It's hard to imagine that Christmas is just three days away. When people think about Christmas, images of snow flakes, snow angels, ice cycles, ice on the streets, big coats and jackets, and ice skating come into mind. But not these days. With the temperature this high and my attitude towards the Christmas holiday like it is, it's kind of hard to actually get into the Christmas spirit. Hopefully before Christmas arrives the weather will drop dramatically and the images of snow flakes, snow angels, ice cycles, ice on the streets, big coats and jackets, and ice skating accompany the cooler weather and Christmas will once again be Christmas!!!!
