UT Tyler Student Money Management hosts Life After Graduation workshop

May 2014 marks a milestone for seniors here at The University of Texas at Tyler. It is time for GRADUATION! The final step to end their college career is approaching. Some have a plan of what they're doing after graduations while others are still trying to figure it out. There are even those that are lucky enough to have jobs lined up. If you still haven't decided what you're going to do, don't worry! The UT Tyler Student Money Management program is hosting an event called "Life After Graduation."

The event will take place at the University Center Ballroom on Tuesday, April 15 at 12:30 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to attain financial counseling on how they can manage expenses once they are out on their own as graduates. This may include budgeting, financing cars, living expenses, etc. There will be information on how to repay student loan debt. This needs to be done as efficiently and timely as possible as debt can pile up. There will also be information on how you can get your dream job! You did not go through four tough years to not get the job you want the most, so the Student Money Management and Career Services is here to help you!

There will also be food! Who doesn't love free pizza?! There will also be free shirts for the first 50 people so make sure you're there on time to get it! If you participate there will be prizes available to win. So if you have a break from class be sure to pass by, this is a great opportunity for you! You don't have to be a Senior to go! Any student from any classification should go as you learn valuable information on how to survive life after college. This will be the questions you want answered once you're a senior so it's always good to start thinking about it early!
