Homecoming Week

I'm pretty sure everyone remembers Homecoming Week in high school, especially if you went to high school here in Texas. You've got the band, the football game, the mums (oh, the mums), and all the fun that goes along with it. Well, after next week, October 3-8, we'll be gearing up for Homecoming here at UT Tyler. Our Homecoming is a little different than what everyone may be used to. We don't have a football team, but we do have a Homecoming soccer game that's very popular. We have a golf cart parade that's pure entertainment, a chili cook-off that everyone gets into, a tailgate party and many other Spirit Competitions that go on throughout the week. Our Homecoming is a little unconventional, but you'll be certain to have a lot of fun once you participate. Be sure to keep an eye out for announcements if you can. I'll certainly be there!
