The 3 Reasons for UT Tyler

It has been a long time since I wrote a blog and I am truly sorry about that, but a bunch of things came up. The first being a new job opportunity and the second, I have been trying to focus on vlogs. Now, I know that doesn’t make up for me not letting you know what is going on in the life of Cameron Leger, but I will work towards bettering myself in all aspects of me.

Well, I would tell you about my new job, but that’s for another blog. This one is focused on one question.

Why did I choose UT Tyler?

Well, I chose this school for three reasons, listed in no particular order (that’s for you @Rene Hernandez). The first happened to be the campus; once I visited campus I knew that this place was special. No other place of higher education that I knew of at the time could you fish in between classes. The second reason was that I was looking for both a Health and Kinesiology program with a men’s soccer team, which UT Tyler had! Finally, the third reason was that I wanted to be far enough away from home that I felt on my own, but close enough to go home when need be. There are many colleges/universities in the world, where I am from, but none that fit all three aforementioned criteria. UT Tyler is the place where I am meant to be!
