The student that is chosen after applying will get a scholarship for $9,000 for that semester. The student will have to get an additional $5,000 to cover room and board for the semester. The program will consist of a 16 week program.

Studying abroad opens many doors for you during and after your college career. Employers look for something that will make candidates stand out during the hiring process. Taking courses abroad gives you a cultural uniqueness as you've been surrounded by a different culture for a few months. This gives you a new outlook and perspective when it comes to your thought process and even how you treat others. When you immerse yourself in a different culture, you get the opportunity to learn new things that differ from your own customs and beliefs. This in turn is applied to your daily life and you change accordingly. You may even speak a little Italian when you get back!
