Freebirds is flying into town!

Have you had cravings for Mexican food lately? Look no further. A new restaurant is rolling into town. Tyler seems to gain a new restaurant edition every year now, allowing new tastes for the locals to try. Freebirds is coming to town!

Freebirds is much like Salsarita’s and Chipotle combined. There are burritos, tacos, nachos, salads and even desserts. Feel free to check out their menu. They’re basically known as one of the meccas of burritos. They pride themselves in using all fresh ingredients as well as hormone free meat.

The franchise started in Santa Monica as ex-hippies decided to roll burritos in 1987. Four years after UC Santa Barbara’s college students claimed it, Freebirds arrived to College Station, Texas as A&M got to taste he restaurant. Now it has moved to sweet old Tyler.

There are a few things that make Freebirds a unique establishment. There are no uniforms, so workers can wear anything they want as long as it won’t take away from their ability to work. That’s pretty interesting. I've never been to a franchise restaurant where a uniform wasn't informed. There’s also a sculpture of the statue of liberty riding a motorcycle through the ceiling. Go America!

The new location of Freebirds will be where old Casa Ole used to in the Time Square Center on Broadway. This is a great location as it will be easy to find. So if you're looking for a place to eat that you haven’t been to, you should check them out when they open. They will be open within the next month or so.
