College of Arts and Sciences Showcase!

On February 10th until February 13th, the University of Texas at Tyler will be holding a new event aimed at giving students an inside look into life at UT Tyler! On each day, one of four different colleges here on campus will have a day dedicated to showing off what they do here at the university. Did you miss Patriot Preview Day? No worries! College Showcase Week is even more exclusive than Preview Day!
Each college will have their own specific day to meet with students and answer their questions and give students a look at what it is like to be a member of the department.  On Monday, Feb. 10th, the College of Engineering and Computer Science will host their showcase.  On Tuesday, February 11th, it is the College of Nursing and Health Science’s day.  On Wednesday, February 12th, the College of Education and Psychology will host.  Finally, on Thursday, February 13th, the College of Arts and Sciences will finish up the week.  Every showcase day will start at 9AM and wrap up around 1:30PM. We are all extremely excited to offer such a great opportunity for potential students!

If you are interested in UT Tyler’s Arts and Sciences, then this is definitely an opportunity you cannot afford to miss! The college of Arts and Sciences covers everything from Biochemistry all the way to the Communications Departments.

Students who attend on the 13th will get an opportunity to learn more about UT Tyler’s nationally recognized biochemistry department.  They will also get a unique look into award winning student programs like the Debate Team and Model United Nations.  They will also get an opportunity to learn more about UT Tyler’s study abroad programs in Italy, Belize, Japan, and Israel.

In addition to getting a look at specific departments, students will receive a tour of the UT Tyler campus with a knowledgeable UT Tyler Representative and have lunch with current students and faculty! Afterwards, there will be representatives on site to answer any additional admissions and financial aid questions.
