The UT Tyler volleyball team swept American Southwest Conference divisional rival East Texas Baptist on Tuesday night. The win improved UT Tyler to 17-9 on the season and 10-5 in the ASC, and also tied the UT Tyler mark for most wins in a season at 17, which came in the program’s inaugural season in 2004. The Patriots were led by Emily Wood, Ashten Waldrep, Kayte Stein, Danika Waldrep, and Stacey Wilson. The Patriots now have a three game home stand against Centenary at 7 p.m. on Friday, 10/21/2011, Mississippi College at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 10/22/2011, and UTD at 7 p.m.,10/25/2011.
