Tips to Avoid Getting Sick

I don't know about you guys, but when the weather changes I tend to get sick. Since I'm currently sick and not happy about it I thought I would post up some tips for you guys to prevent getting sick.


1. Wash your hands. You get sick for one reason and one reason only: germs. Bacteria and viruses make you ill by finding a way into your body through physical contact.

2. Don't touch your face. Even if your hands are relitively clean, chances are some germs will find a way to survivie there.

3. Avoid sick people. Germs are everywhere, but they are particularly concentrated in people who are sick.

4. Don't eat group food. You want to avoid dips and chips at holiday parties. You never know who could have touched some of the chips or double dipped a chip with their germs.

5. Get enough sleep. Being well rested will help your body to fight off bacteria. If your body doesn't have enough sleep it will be weak to illnesses.

6, Hydrate. When your body is fighting off an illness your immune system is working overtime. Your body will need plent of water to help with the process.

7. Take vitamins. Vitamins are designed to help boost your immune system. Make sure you take them every day.
