Online Courses?

So I'll be taking my first online course this summer, and I'm pretty divided on what to expect. I've talked to several people and based on what I've heard, I'm going to put together a list of ways to approach an online course for the first time. Maybe try it out with me?

1. Stick to a schedule as often as you can.
Yeah, even though online courses allow you flexibility, try to set aside the same days each week to do your work. Everything goes better when you have a rhythm going.

2. Meet deadlines.
It can be real easy to forget about online quizzes being due by a certain date when you don't have a teacher there to remind you every class day. I've heard most teachers are pretty unforgiving about missed deadlines for online courses, which leads to really bad things I"m sure.

3. Schedule test days ASAP.
Wouldn't want to get stuck at work the day of a test would we?

4. Try to save assignments right when they're posted.
We all know how Blackboard can be, so try and save each assignment to your drive in anyway possible while you work on it.

With these in mind, I'll be attempting Intro to Psych online early next month. I ask you now, what works for you?
