So, there's only one test standing between me and my degree. And hopefully, it won't be too hard of a test. It's for History of Psychology, so it could really go either way. Cross your fingers for me.
With that said, I think I'm finally starting to freak out about graduating. I mean, I know that technically I'm going to move directly into more school, but..... I dunno. I guess it just seems like I'm ending a portion of my life. Which I guess I am. But, even with all of the apprehension, I can't help but to be a little excited. I mean, I'm going to FINALLY wrap up my undergraduate stuff, and move into actually being able to HELP people. Isn't that exciting?!
Anywho, getting away from the heavy stuff now. If you're feeling a little bit stressed from finals, you should check out these tips on relaxation. Also, there will inevitably be a few events going on around campus. So, if you're feeling like you need a study break you can check out Finals Frenzy bingo (Tuesday & Wednesday from 11:30 to 1:00 in the Sports Cafe) or The Novelty Relaxation Station (Monday from 11:00 to 3:00). For those of you who like to squeeze in that last minute of studying, don't forget that the Library has extended hours this week (Open until 2:00 AM from Sunday to Thursday).
If anyone has any other finals tips (or information on more events) you should post them here!
Good luck everyone! And have a great week!

Students can come by the Counseling Center for a 30 minute guided relaxation session with one of our Licensed Professional Counselors any day next week! Either call 566-7254 or come by UC 3170 to set up an appointment - learn techniques to manage over pre-finals stress & anxiety!
Students may schedule individual or group sessions of up to 3 students at a time. Sessions will take place in the Relaxation & Biofeedback Room.
Counselors take appointments year-round to help students with study skills, time management, test anxiety, strengths & interests assessments (thinking of switching majors? see them first!), roommate or couples' issues, homesickness, etc...as well as connecting students with appropriate community resources.
