Why???

Going into my sophomore year, I did not really know what university I wanted to transfer to. I played football my freshman year and while doing so I managed to tear my ACL, MCL, and meniscus (yeah, i know OUCH even though that was not the word I was thinking when it happened). Fast forward back to April in 2009. One of my good friends that actually attends UT at Tyler had recommended for me to simply give the school a look and consider it with my other options. I decided that visiting the school would be the best way to get a vibe of the campus, faculty and other students, and to also observe the facilities that the school offer. I immediately was astonished when I first arrived. If it was solely up to me this would be my pick of choice but my parents had some say so of course since they are the ones actually putting up the big bucks. We got out the car and started to tour the school. My dad was sold on the gym/weight room and was pretty easily convinced as I was. Not surprisingly, my mother was not as easily swayed and said, "It look nice but I want to talk to some people from the Kinesiology(my major)department to look at the accreditation within the major." So in an attempt to please her we was able to talk to Dr. Marzilli, the head of the department. After 30 minutes of talking should finally gave in and said that she liked the school and thought it was be a great place to finish my collegiate career.
So there you have it. I was induced by the environment, my father was convinced by the facilities (not just the gym/weight room), and my mother had to be persuaded by Dr. Marzilli.
