Why Haven't I Left UT Tyler?

What am I still doing here?? I have no papers to write. I have no student organization events to attend. All of my final exams have been taken and scored. So why is it that I still find myself scouring the university seemingly every day? Well there are two reasons: first, I work at the university part-time; and second, it has been a nightmare attempting to receive my refund check this semester due to beaucracy, paperwork, and an identificaiton error. However, I've finally collected my refund check in time for Christmas shopping and tomorrow will be my final day to work. I can't wait to get home to see my family, especially my two beautiful nieces! I leave for home after receiving A's in each of my courses for the semester (honestly not sure how, but certainly lucky it worked out) with a sense of unconditional relief and my mind focused on R&R. I really enjoyed the courses that I took this semester and I am happy to have become acquainted with the students and faculty that I was fortunate to meet through various classes, events, and organizations. It is funny though... although school is over I still feel like I should be busy. Oh well, I will happily fill this "void" with family and friends for the next couple of weeks.
