New P2 Cards

It seems that UT Tyler has gotten tired of HigherOne (or maybe the other way around?), and now financial aid might just get a bit...easier. Starting this semester UT Tyler will issue new student ID's that not only do everything your P2 card used to, but also work as debit cards for your refunds. If you're a current student you can get your new card for free starting Monday August 9th at 9am in the UC conference room 2160 (in front of Grill Works).

Of course if you miss getting your money all at once, you can opt for a check instead. You will still need to pick up this card though, as the old student IDs will no longer be valid. If you pick the card, there is a $600 withdrawal limit per day (as opposed to the $400 limit on the SwoopOne cards), and you can even elect to have the money sent to a bank account for a modest $2.00 fee. There are also ATMs around the city that give you free withdrawals (check out the phone apps for all you iPhone/Droid users).

All the info you need for the new card can be found in the link below. Be sure to select your refund preference soon!
