UT Tyler FAFSA workshop!

Have you been making sure you turn in a FAFSA every year? If not, you may be losing valuable financial aid from the University of Texas at Tyler! Not sure how to fill one out? No problem! UT Tyler is holding a workshop to help you out!

The FAFSA workshop is a program offered by the UT Tyler Financial Aid office.  During the FAFSA workshop, financial aid counselors will assist students in completing their Free Apllication for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The workshop is open to all returning UT Tyler students as well as new students who plan to attend UT Tyler during the 2014-2015 academic year.

This event will be held in the Library in room 422 on Thursday, February 27th from 1:00 to 4:30 PM and on
Friday, February 28th from 8:30 to 12:00 PM.  The priority deadline for filling out your 2014-2015 FAFSA for Fall 2014 is March 15th for State Aid and April 1st to for Federal and Institutional Aid, so act fast!

Are you instested? Here's what you need to bring:

• Your FAFSA PIN
• Your Social Security Number
• Your Driver's License Number
• If you are not a US Citizen, your Alien Registration Card
• 2013 Tax Returns and W2's (Student, spouse, and parents if applicapble
• Untaxed income records
• Students who were born before January 1st, 1991, do not need to bring parental information
