“Members of the Student Communications Team communicate with prospective and current UT Tyler students through phone, e-mail, and social media. As admissions telecounselors, the students contact prospective students, admitted students, and current students by phone. The students help to continue the UT Tyler experience by sending e-mails and/or postcards to people who have participated in touring the campus. The students are responsible for helping to monitor any social networking application used by Admissions. They are also responsible for posting blogs and videos on events, news, and their personal campus experiences on UT Tyler’s official Blogger page and YouTube accounts. The students help advertise UT Tyler social media pages by passing out fliers at UT Tyler’s Preview Day and orientations as well. “
